Didemnin-B

Didemnins belonging to the class of depsipeptides were first isolated from the Caribbean tunicate Trididemnum solidum (Family Didemnidae). The cyclic depsipeptide didemnin B shows anticancer activity in preclinical models. didemnin B selectively induces apoptosis through dual inhibition of PPT1 and EEF1A1
