Inhibitors of OPB include: leupeptin (26nM),antipain (69 nM), water-soluble serine protease inhibitor 4-(2-aminoethyl)-benzenesulfonyl-fluoride (AEBSF) but not PMSF. Substrates include: (Bz-Arg-AMC, Z-Phe-Arg-AMC, Z-Arg-Arg-AMC, Boc-Gly-Arg-Arg-AMC, Z-Gly-Gly-Arg-AMC, Z-Gly-Pro-AMC the best are di-arginine). Other strains: Leishmania major, Leishmania mexicana (strain MHOM/GT/2001/U1103), Leishmania donovani (strain BPK282A1), Leishmania amazonensis, Leishmania braziliensis Leishmania infantum, Leishmania donovani
