Sclerotinia sclerotiorum (strain ATCC 18683 / 1980 / Ss-1) (White mold) (Whetzelinia sclerotiorum) SsCut1 cutinase 1 modulating virulence
The protein SsCut1 contains the conserved cutinase domain and a fungal cellulose-binding domain (excluded here). Sscut1 isupregulated during infection. Deletion of the SsCut1 gene, SsCut1 mutants showed reduced cutinase activity and virulence.
