Type_substrate Report for: Haloacetate

The haloalkanes (halogenoalkanes, alkyl halides) are alkanes containing one or more halogen substituents. They are used commercially as flame retardants, fire extinguishants, refrigerants, propellants, solvents, and pharmaceuticals. Haloacetate are included. These compounds are hydrolysed by Haloacetate_dehalogenases and Haloalkane_dehalogenases
