Abstract :
The affinities of antipsychotic agents for neurotransmitter receptors are believed to be responsible for their antipsychotic activity and side-effect profiles. Data on neuroreceptor affinity can be used to predict side-effect profiles of antipsychotic drugs. In this report, we present data on receptor affinity that have been modified to help clinicians clearly see the potential for each drug to produce a specific side effect at any dosage. |
