Abstract :
OBJECTIVE: While acetylcholinesterase inhibitors, such as donepezil, galantamine, and rivastig-mine, are beneficial in treating behavioral symptoms of patients with Alzheimer's disease (AD), their dose-limiting effects include gastrointestinal disturbances, such as nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea.
