Abstract :
A simple method for laboratory purification of fenitrothion technical concentrates for analytical purposes is described. The method is based on the differential rate of alkaline hydrolysis of fenitrothion, its S-methyl isomer and corresponding oxygen analogue. The volatile impurities are removed by counter-current steam distillation. |
