Abstract :
AIM: Acetylcholine (ACh) stimulates ion secretion in the small intestine and colon. The purpose of the present study was to characterize the ACh-induced electrogenic ion transport in human duodenum and determine the muscarinic receptor subtypes functionally involved. |
