Abstract :

Fusarilactones D and E (1 and 2), two new alpha-pyrone derivatives, and four known compounds, namely, phomapyrone C (3), fusarester C (4), neovasifuranone B (5), and neovasifuranone A (6), were isolated from Fusarium sp. L46, an endophytic fungus isolated from Dioscorea opposita leaves. Their structures were determined using 1D and 2D NMR spectra, HRESIMS, and optical rotation measurements. Compounds 3-5 were assessed for their inhibitory activity on pancreatic lipase.
