Abstract :

Strigolactones control many aspects of plant growth and development, but the active form(s) of strigolactones and their mode of action at the molecular level are unknown. A new study provides evidence that an alpha/beta-fold protein plays a central multifunctional role in strigolactone metabolism, perception and signalling.
