Perillyl-octanoate

Covalent conjugation of the natural monoterpene perillyl alcohol (POH) to Octanoic acid (NEO100, highly purified perillyl alcohol). POH, a naturally occurring monoterpene and metabolic product of limonene. It is commonly found in the essential oils of several plants and fruits, such as peppermint, spearmint, cherries, and celery seeds. POH has long been reported to have anticancer effects in vitro and in vivo
