Tetraethylpyrophosphate
First synthetized organophosphate cholinesterase inhibitor (tetraethyl pyrophosphate, TEPP) by Philippe de Clermont and Wladimir P. Moshin. Willy Lange,in Berlin prepared sodium monofluorophosphate in 1929. Attempts to isolate the free monofluophosphoric acid led to the preparation of some of its esters, in 1932, with one of his graduate students, Gerda von Krueger. They recognized the toxicity of these esters. Insecticide
