Abstract :
AIMS: Altered drug disposition has been associated with inflammation and diabetes, leading to the alteration of drug efficacy and toxicity. Carboxylesterases are major hydrolytic enzymes in the liver, catalyzing the hydrolytic biotransformation of numerous therapeutic agents.
