Glutathione

A tripeptide with many roles in cells. It conjugates to drugs to make them more soluble for excretion, is a cofactor for some enzymes, is involved in protein disulfide bond rearrangement and reduces peroxides. psesp-llipa lipase-activation-factor (LAF) (reduced form of glutathione) for formation of intermolecular disulfide bound. Product of hydrolysis of S-formylglutathione by S-formylglutathione hydrolase (Family A85-EsteraseD-FGH)
