Sivelestat is a N-acylglycine and a pivalate ester. It is functionally related to a N-benzoylglycine, and has been used in trials studying the treatment of Acute Lung Injury and Respiratory Distress Syndrome, Adult. mproves acute lung injury by inhibiting PI3K/AKT/mTOR signaling pathway
