Antiplatelet

Antiplatelet drugs work to make platelets less sticky and thereby help prevent blood clots from forming in arteries. These drugs are not alpha\/beta hydrolases targets bu some are hydrolysed by esterases. Aspirin is an antiplatelet drug. P2Y12 receptor blockers (Receptor for ADP and ATP coupled to G-proteins that inhibit the adenylyl cyclase second messenger system) are another group of antiplatelet drugs.
