Saligenin cyclic o-tolyl phosphate (SCOTP) has been proposed as the active metabolite of tri-o-cresyl phosphate (TOCP), a neurotoxic organophosphate. TRI-O-CRESYL PHOSPHATE (TOCP) is metabolized in vitro and in vivo to form potent esterase inhibitors. CBDP and Phenyl-OBDP are potent NTE inhibitors. TRI-O-CBESYL PHOSPHATE (TOCP) is metabolized in vitro and in vivo to form potent esterase inhibitors. CBDP and Phenyl-BDPO are potent NTE inhibitors
