Bacillus subtilis lipase (lipA) (EC 3.1.1.3) BSLA (triacylglycerol lipase)
One of the smallest lipase. It lacks a lid covering the substrate cleft.the active Ser in AXSXG pentapeptide.Prefers substrates with C8 fatty acid chains It shows remarkable stability at low pH.
