Q3ZAK4 difference part missing in the middle of the sequence || Annotation from Dr Peter Campbell : There is an error in the sequence as predicted by the genome project which they should correct soon. The sixth predicted intron is not removed\; instead there is a stop codon and poly A site. This makes the protein the usual length for an esterase rather than 50\% too long. CG8425 DmJHEdup appears to be a duplication of CG8424. CG8424 is a juvenile hormone esterase. DmJHE is the hormone esterase with precise regulation and highly specific activity for its substrate, juvenile hormone. DmJHEdup is an odorant degrading esterase (ODE) responsible for processing various kairomones in antennae
